I take the unnecessary material and sew a rectangle pouch about 5 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high, and I use Velcro to close the opening. Then I sew it to the inner side waistband. Good for credit cards, ship ID, color copy of passport, etc. In addition, when shortening T-shirts, the cutoff in 3 inches x 5 inches makes great soft glasses cleaners! 20-Apr-2009 K.
