I take the unnecessary material and sew a rectangle pouch about 5 inches wide by 3 1/2 inches high, and I use Velcro to close the opening. Then I sew it to the inner side waistband. The palettes are small, and give you a good variety of colors for all skin tones - and cut down on the number of bulky tubes. Victoria's Secret has an excellent one which isn't too expensive.
