13 14 15 [Next] - A small plastic shoe box sized organizer box is invaluable in packing. On the way to your destination, pack it with whatever. On the way back, pack it with small breakables and things you don't want to get bent. It adds very little weight and keeps things better organized and unbroken. Joy Santee ID45 - When packing shoes for a trip, I put my shoes inside my husband's shoes. My nice shoes are protected and they don't take up any extra space. Cheryl Woods ID784 - Take small drawstring bags to put clothes into e.g. underwear, t-shirts. It makes it a lot easier to find things without too much rummaging. Philippa Taylor ID85 - When packing first aid supplies (i.e., bandaids, Tylenol, etc.) be sure to store them separately from your colognes, soaps, shampoos, and other items that could spill and cause a mess. This will save you frustration, and in some cases - money. Justin Jones ID769 - When packing your necklaces, place each one in a straw, by threading one end of the necklace through, and clasping it closed. This prevents the necklace from tangling up. This has saved many minutes from having to untangle the necklaces after arriving at the destination. (Use longer straws for longer necklaces, and cut the straw to exactly half the length of the necklace, for shorter ones.)
