We could have easily checked it with our luggage, as well as using it to bring a coffee maker or toaster. You will find that a lot of time can be saved by having milk and juice (as well as some nice cold beer!) in your room. A quick bowl of cereal, (bought the night before in the food court), and a carton or glass of juice can be a nice quick breakfast. Also, a small soft-sided cooler can be filled up with cold juice boxes and beers for your afternoons at the pool. It's a big money saver as well as a convenience! Ann Gorski ID127 - Pack a bottle of iodine. It will purify water if you get stuck in a place without any bottled water. It may make it/or your beverage taste funny, but it will help prevent you from getting Montezuma's Revenge! Also take Imodium A-D if you happen to forget and brush your teeth with the local water (or drink something with ice cubes in it)! Janice Connett ID669 - Pack a small antibacterial hand gel (kills germs without water) in your purse or carry-on bag so that you can clean your hands before eating your finger snacks on the airplane. Think of all the individuals who handled your ticket and your ID card enroute to your seat on the plane ... Sandy Peters ID389 - Take laundry detergent tabs instead of liquid or powder detergents. It saves room, and avoids gushy messes in your luggage. If you are worried about wrinkles, bring a wrinkle release spray of some sort. Meg Weaver ID175 - When traveling internationally your luggage will go through a lot of x-rays. Buy a lead bag before you leave and store your camera film in this. X-rays damage the film, and the lead bag provides protection.
