It is paper thin, measures about 3" by 3", weighs practically nothing, and fits in any corner of my bag without a worry. 1-Jan-2000 Lorna Thomas-Murray ID678 - I always carry two (or more) small magnets in my toiletries bag to place on the bottom of the shower curtain in hotel rooms while bathing. I also leave the back of the curtain open about a foot or so. This helps to keep the curtain from blowing in on me while I shower. I also wet the front wall a little and stick the curtain to it so water stays in the tub instead of going all over the floor where I'll step out. And I must concur with the suggestion of taking sandals for protecting your feet from fungus and germs. 1-Jan-2000 Kevin McDowell ID726 - Bring maps of your country with you when you travel. When I meet people I can point out where I come from. I also have a local map to show my guests where they are (some folks have never seen a map of their home before). I visit AAA before I head out and get a few. They make great gifts or you can drop them off at a local school before you head home. During a recent visit in the Mexican town of Taxco, my map of the US had teenage girls clambering to see where the teen music group, the Hansons (3 brothers who are the current heartthrobs), were from. I was a bit disappointed they didn't want to hear all about the wonders of Vermont, but they sure ate up anything I knew about Oklahoma! Explorations in Travel 18-Dec-2003 Explorations in Travel ID748 - Assume your bags will be mis-routed and carry a mini survival kit that will get you through a day or night. Include a change of socks, underwear, toiletries, sewing kit, headache remedy, prescription medicines, extra eyeglasses, and sunglasses. 4-Aug-2005 A Wilderness Guest Ranch, Moab, Utah ID754 - Pack mirror with folding base. Comes in handy when 2 or more need to use mirror when getting ready. 22-Apr-2001 Mary Holt ID140 Would You Like to Add a Travel Tip?We welcome QUALITY travel tips from our users.Note: you will be required to enter the characters from a security image, so please make sure that you have your browser set to view images.
