It comes in handy since it's harder to navigate your way to the bathroom in a dark unfamiliar setting. If I am awakened in the middle of the night, I feel safer when the room is not completely dark. A nite-lite packs easily in a shoe or in the corner of your luggage. Gigi McGuire ID721 - Bring only a few changes of socks and underwear. You can wash them in your room each night in the sink, hang them to dry, and have fresh ones each morning. Damon Fernandes ID735 - Lay out all the clothes you think you would like to have on your trip and then choose HALF of those items to pack and take with you. You'll still have plenty of clothing to wear and a lot less to haul around! Julie Morford ID730 - Include a Chux (or similar open mesh dishcloth) and use this for pre-drying before toweling off after a shower or bath.
