29 30 31 32 [Next] - Travel clocks with multiple time zones are as cheap and compact as regular travel alarm clocks. They allow you to see what time it is back home so that you can call at a reasonable hour. They're also handy for when you make calls to your destination from home. Dana Parker ID687 - I always carry a travel first aid kit with Bandaids, Tums, Aspirin, bee sting wipes, etc. With all the walking you are bound to get a blister and with all the different food, an upset stomach is likely. I feel much more comfortable knowing I have medicine and not having to track down an open pharmacy. This tip was reinforced in Spain, when a travel mate was ill and all stores were closed for siesta. Shannon McAffry ID722 - Take a small travel iron with a built-in converter. Use a damp towel when steam is needed. Make sure to take an international adapter plug with you when traveling abroad. Bolton Bed and Breakfast, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada ID756 - A small, travel-sized corkscrew is handy if you like to purchase wine while traveling. Safety pins are a must for on-the-go clothing repairs and to keep your pockets theft-proof. Kimberly K. ID126 - Instead of packing bottled perfume (which could break), pack a small travel-sized bottle of perfumed lotion in your favorite scent. You can get these at places like Bath & Body Works, The Body Shop, etc. They are inexpensive and come in all kinds of fragrances, including some gears towards men. The fragrance in lotion lasts longer (perfume evaporates), plus you get the added benefit of moisturizing your skin.
