- If you don't want to carry a washcloth with you, try a compressed sponge instead. I buy a couple of sponges in a kitchen goods store. They're about 3x5 inches. I cut them into smaller sections and use them for washing my face. If you leave one or it's thrown out inadvertently, there's no big loss.
