30 31 32 [Next] - Instead of packing bottled perfume (which could break), pack a small travel-sized bottle of perfumed lotion in your favorite scent. You can get these at places like Bath & Body Works, The Body Shop, etc. They are inexpensive and come in all kinds of fragrances, including some gears towards men. The fragrance in lotion lasts longer (perfume evaporates), plus you get the added benefit of moisturizing your skin. Jenney Bramson ID18 - Washable silk clothing takes up far less room and is lighter than most fabrics. It breathes well in hot weather and keeps you warm when it is cold. It dries quickly after a hand washing and is ready to wear again the next morning. With increasing charges for extra luggage, switching to silk could also end up saving you money. W. Storrey ID2177 - When wanting to travel light, simply buy everything in trial sizes. Any pharmacy will have a shelf full of products that are very small and easy to pack - from deodorant to toothbrushes - and the majority only costs about 99 cents each. Jenny O. Liz Roe ID668 - Buy books to read on the flight/beach from a local charity shop or boot/garage sale - they are one tenth the price of brand new, and you can afford to leave them behind at the resort, in the hotel library, etc., to leave more space in your luggage for souvenirs, etc. and to save weight.
