Not only will you have a record of your expenses ... but you are sure to get an exchange rate that you can verify. Check your hotel or (preferably) a local bank for current rates. You actually get to see lava coming out of the crater and the view is even more amazing at night. Due to the amount of fog in the area, I recommend that people stay in one of the resorts at night or camp out near the lake to increase the chances of seeing it.
