  • Traverse the Undiscovered - Unspoiled - Unbeaten Paths of Dominica

  • - Dominica is where nature lives, a Caribbean island with a difference, a magical place of beauty and life. Here are five facts about the Island:

    • Over the past few years, Dominica has earned the reputation as one of the top five dive destinations and one of the top ten whale-watching destinations in the world.

    • Four national parks, two marine reserves, and the only Natural World Heritage site in the eastern Caribbean on the UNESCO World Heritage List are on Dominica Island.

    • Dominica's Boiling Lake is the second largest of its kind in the world.

    • Dominica is one of the only two islands in the Caribbean which still has a population of the early indigenous Carib Indians today.

    • Dominica was officially ranked as the top sustainable island in the Caribbean and among the top ten in the world by National Geographic's Center for Sustainable Destinations.

Experience the wonder of walking all over the nature island. It's a hiking adventure that cannot be beat.

Check out Dominica's newest hike/adventure video which showcases a glimpse of the many trails and hidden paths from around the Island. Enjoy!

  • - If you have a connecting flight, make sure it will have at least 2 hours between, or the airline will not pay a cent if you miss the flight.

  • Use Your Credit Card

  • - When traveling in Jamaica, you can use your major credit card almost anywhere. Not only will you have a record of your expenses ... but you are sure to get an exchange rate that you can verify. Check your hotel or (preferably) a local bank for current rates. Shops and businesses will often 'pad' the exchange rate just a bit ... so be careful. When you MUST use cash ... (craft markets .. roadside vendors .. etc.) use Jamaican dollars which you can obtain from any bank (prices will almost invariably be better in Jamaican $ compared to US $).... DON'T 'sell' your dollars on the street.... unless you have lots to spend!

  • Volcano in Costa Rica

  • - Volcano Arenal in Costa Rica is a really cool place to visit. You actually get to see lava coming out of the crater and the view is even more amazing at night. Due to the amount of fog in the area, I recommend that people stay in one of the resorts at night or camp out near the lake to increase the chances of seeing it.
