Smaller B&B's (like Belle Neige Bed and Breakfast) are not required to charge these additional taxes! This means extra savings and better value for our guests! Belle Neige Bed and Breakfast, Whistler, British Columbia, Canada ID1043 - When booking your accommodations in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada, be sure to ask your bed and breakfast for special rates which include Dual Mountain Ski Lift passes with your accommodations. Only approved and authorized B&B's may offer these special discount ski lift passes. You save 5% to 25% on skiing! Belle Neige Bed and Breakfast, Whistler, British Columbia, Canada ID1042 - If you are taking a plane in New York and you need to commute from the Big Apple to either JFK or La Guardia Aiport watch out! The service is very good and accurate and there are many busses departing every 20 minuutes - in front of Grand Central Station, 42nd East but ... you might find a friendly gentleman trying to sell you the bus ticket for the same price as sold in the ticket office. Beware - the ticket is not valid ! Inmaculada Herrera ID62 - If travelling to the Canadian Rockies, be aware that most hotels book a year in advance and B&B's often fill up before summer. We have had many tourists phone us from pay phones with their children crying - and there are no beds in any B&B's or other places. They sleep in their car - which is illegal in the national parks - so they can get ticketed. Book your accommodations before the end of April if you can. Otherwise, you may have to travel two hours or more to find a bed. In the parks hotels are expensive. Remember: tourist accommodation rooms do not provide a breakfast, so ask questions prior to booking. Only B&B's provide breakfast and the traditional service. Tourists from far away do not know the difference and are often disappointed to find there is no breakfast included in a tourist accommodation room. Many of these rooms in Jasper National Park are not licensed and are an illegal business. If you stay in an illegal tourist room you have no recourse to complain if there is a problem. Ask questions. Ask, ask, ask! Wyndswept Bed and Breakfast, Jasper East, Alberta, Canada Wyndswept Bed and Breakfast, Jasper East, Alberta, Canada ID1046 - If you plan to visit Toronto, Canada next summer, starting from June when there will be a few big conventions in town, make sure to make your accommodation arrangements early. It has made us feel very bad to know that some people had to spend the night at the airport because they could not find a place to stay. Call Tourism Toronto at 1-800-363-1990 for a list of hotels or B&Bs.
