Las Vegas Do's and Don'ts

- Alcohol in Vegas

DO: Alcohol may be carried and consumed on the Vegas Strip. Alcohol must be consumed in moderation.
DON'T: No flaunting, chugging, or beer bongs. Watch how you walk. Stumbling or passing out on the Vegas Strip will get you in trouble.
DON'T take an open container of alcohol into a vehicle. It is against the law, unless it is a chartered bus.

Leave the Car in the Parking Lot

- Do not try to navigate Washington by car, especially during a weekday. The city's Metro is one of the finest in the States, and an all-day unlimited pass (good from 10 a.m. through the evening) is inexpensive.

- If you are coming back into the U.S. it's a good idea to take the Cuban cigar out of your mouth! Believe me on that one!

Montreal Subway Tips

- When in Montreal, it is much easier to take the metro and bus system than to drive. The police are extremely strict when it comes to driving, and unlike in the States, there is NO right turn on red in most of the city and outlying areas. Also, the automated announcements on the metro are in French and can be difficult to understand, even if you speak the language. So pay close attention to where you are when riding and remember to GRAB YOUR BUS TRANSFER TICKET - otherwise you may have to pay again. Scottie.
