- While visiting the Seattle, Washington area, everyone likes to go to the observation deck of the Space Needle. From the observation deck on a clear day you can see Mt. Rainier, the Olympic Mountains, and also the Cascades Mountains. There is a charge for each adult, but it was suggested by a guest that you should plan to have lunch at the Space Needle and then after lunch you can go to the observation deck free of charge. From the restaurant you can also get a wonderful view as it rotates a full circle every hour.
