3 4 [Next] - When I operated a 4 room B&B, I found that it was very easy to offer a selection for breakfast. Each evening the guests would complete a selection list for their breakfast. Choices would include type of preparation of eggs (boiled, fried, scrambled), type of meat (ham, sausage), and a choice of fresh fruit or muffin. The guests were always pleased at having a choice. Many B&B sites do not offer any selection. 4-Aug-2005 Brass Bell Floating B&B, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada ID1297 - Pillows play such an important role in a good night's sleep. Have a variety - down, synthetic, cotton, fat, fluffy, firm. I make my beds with medium firm synthetic pillows for propping to watch TV or read, and fairly soft down pillows for sleeping; when showing guests to their rooms I ask about allergies to down, and invite my guests to 'pillow-shop' in the closet if their pillows are not to their liking. 18-Dec-2003 Tree House Bed and Breakfast, Henderson, Texas ID1293 - For the safety of guests, provide a flashlight in a bedside table, nightlights, and emergency lighting in the room. Let guests know about these precautions in case of power failure or an emergency in the night. It will make them rest more comfortably in unfamiliar surroundings. 1-Jan-2000 Bernadette Van Lenten ID1289 - Our guests come to us in Oklahoma City for the excitement of the City and we're happy to show them what OKC has to offer ... but when the time comes for them to 'turn in' the noise and excitement of the City isn't what they're looking for! We've found that purchasing a 'sound' machine for each sleeping room works perfectly to drown out any night noise. Each guest can choose what sleeping sound they would like! And... we also provide sleeping masks for those who like to sleep late and don't want to see the sun come up! 18-Dec-2003 Ambrosia Rose Inn, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma ID1287 - They are much cheaper than separate fans and ceiling lights. They are much more pleasing on the eye than a portable fan with an extension cord running around the room, and guests are less likely to trip over them and crack their necks. 1-Jan-2000 Gower House Bed and Breakfast, St. John's Newfoundland, Canada ID1302 Would You Like to Add a Travel Tip?We welcome QUALITY travel tips from our users.Note: you will be required to enter the characters from a security image, so please make sure that you have your browser set to view images.
